Gateway Regional Medical Center Receives Sleep Center Accreditation
(Granite City, IL, August 8, 2017) — Gateway Regional Medical Center recently received Sleep Center Accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), in recognition of the hospital’s commitment to the highest standards in the country for sleep disorder care.
“Gateway Regional Medical Center is committed to providing a leading sleep disorder clinic for our community,” says Ed Cunningham, CEO of Gateway Regional Medical Center. “When the people who live and work in Granite City and the surrounding communities think about quality care, we want them to think of our hospital. That’s why we are on a path of continual improvement as we invest in the latest tools, techniques and innovations for our patients.”
ACHC accreditation encompasses many facets of the hospital’s sleep disorder program: direct patient care, clinical education and strategic planning for the future of our program. As an accredited sleep disorder center, Gateway Regional Medical Center regularly undergoes onsite reviews of its operations and patient care processes by the ACHC experts.
