Outpatient Therapy
Gateway Regional Medical Center’s outpatient therapy programs offer a variety of quality rehabilitation services. Our experienced staff treats many conditions, including orthopedic problems, neurologic conditions and sports injuries, and licensed therapists provides one-on-one care to patients of all ages.
Therapy can help restore function and relieve the pain associated with injury, joint replacement, stroke and many other conditions that cause impairment. The goal is to maximize functional abilities, restore independence and return patients to normal activity as safely and quickly as possible.
At a patient’s first visit, a licensed therapist will perform an evaluation, assessing pain, ability and function of all affected areas. A therapy plan is then created to fit individual needs. Licensed therapists guide patients through the plan throughout the recovery process, striving for optimal results during and after rehabilitation.
