Gateway Regional offers the latest in imaging technology, a skilled and experienced staff, and board certified radiologists, all close to home. The same level of technology and expertise you find across the river is right here in Granite City and Edwardsville.
Digital Imaging Equals Better Care
We recently installed a Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) to make imaging more accurate and convenient to both patients and physicians. This digital system allows your physician to manipulate images for more thorough review, rather than having to obtain additional images. This saves time and helps patients avoid unnecessary exposure.
The system also expedites your results. There is no film to develop so results are available almost instantly in our computer system. A radiologist can access your results immediately, whether he or she is on site or at a remote location.
